Memberships & Donations

UNITECH Alumni Association (UAA) aims to reach all UNITECH graduates from all years as well as those who are on the way, with this purpose, the UAA has decided to abolish the membership fee!

By opening up the UAA, we were able to more than double the amount of members and increase our value as an Association thanks to the diversity and variety of its members. Thus, driven by numerous positive feedbacks from Corporate Partners and Alumni, the UAA Council proposed the membership fee abolition during the General Assembly 2015 in Dublin and the proposal was approved with majority of the Alumni attendees.

So now, how do we plan to finance our UAA activities?

Overall, the UAA funds will come from 3 pillars:

  1. UNITECH International Society contribution
  2. Donations from Corporate Partners, Academic Partners and Alumni
  3. Small contributions from organized events such as the Symposium

The funds will be primarily used in initiatives whose purpose is to increase the value for our Alumni pool by fostering the interaction between Alumni, CPs and APs.

In addition, it is important to mention that all UAA contributors from the Council members to the Local Chapter Coordinators and Regional Groups work for free, so all gathered funds are used to keep the network alive by partly financing events and covering travel costs for the necessary meetings.
