Miquel Fabregas, UNITECH Programme Participant 2013 from Barcelona, has just graduated as a Civil Engineer from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2012 the Chips@School programme was established in Munich as an idea competition for students of the 8th grade onwards (roughly 13 years old) where the students come up with an idea on how semiconductor chips can be used to improve our lives. Several other sites in Germany joined and in 2015 the first nationwide competition took place.
